The theme this year "Managing Risks - Meeting Expectations" was chosen to recognise the role of pipelines in bridging resource centres to markets. Consumers and buyers are very dependent on pipelines as critical infrastructure for socio-economic development. Pipeline integrity, security and reliability has attracted a lot of attention from the regulators, investors and financiers. Pipeline risk management is a core business value for the entire industry.
