Focusing on the theme "Optimising Pipeline Performance by Harnessing Our Human Capital", interested speakers are invited to submit papers on technical issues relating to Asia's energy pipeline industry. Abstracts submitted to the Conference Committee should meet the following criteria:

* Papers should be of interest to a broad audience within the industry including asset owners, operators and providers of pipeline products and services.
* All papers are to be written and presented in English.
* Presentations and papers should not focus on a particular product brand or be advertorial in nature.

In keeping with the theme of APCE 09, abstracts are invited on:

* Case studies in managing technical and operational risks.
* New technology and materials.
* Pipeline integrity and asset management.
* Experience with pipeline operations and lessons learnt.
* Case studies in training, development and industry competency standards.

Abstracts must be submitted to AGC no later than Friday 15 May 2009 and include

* Completed form on the back of this brochure.
* An abstract of up to 250 words.
* Biographical data on all proposed authors.

Those with accepted papers will receive one complimentary delegate registration. Additional presenters of a single paper will be required to register in full. Please note that the Conference organisers will not pay travel and accommodation expenses for delegates whose papers have been accepted.

It is a condition that all speakers accepted through the Call for Papers provide an electronic version of the written paper for publication.
