From 28-29 October 2009, participants drawn from pipeline owners and operators, contractors, engineering companies and providers of pipeline products and services will converge at the 5th Asian Pipeline Conference and Exhibition. The region's leading pipeline oriented event remains the key in driving the pipeline industry. Additionally it also reflects the dynamic growth of ASEAN's oil and gas sector as well as the growing interest of keys players within the industry.

"Optimising Pipeline Performance by Harnessing Our Human Capital" is the theme chosen for this year. It recognizes the challenges in optimizing pipeline assets, challenging product mixes and maintaining pipeline flows in difficult operating environments. At the same time it also proving challenging to secure and develop the human resources. An exhibition will be run concurrently with the conference to allow delegates the opportunity to explore and discover products and services offered in the pipeline industry.

At the APCE 2008 we announced that the event will sponsor two Young Pipeline Professionals for a technical study tour in 2009. They will share at this year conference their findings and observation.
